Lucy and I did a bit of sampling at our local community garden. (It’s hard to resist those hot-off-the-vine cherry tomatoes!) Lu quickly learned to pick-n-pop….yummy!(maybe you’ve heard of milk-mustaches?….but what’s really hot are tomato-beards.) 🙂
(Lucy just wanted to make sure this mini crib will still have room for big-sister/little-brother naps.) 🙂
Little smith #2 is coming in November…and we just found out it’s going to be a boy! (check out that cute little guy)
To celebrate, we planned to eat a “gender-appropriate” lunch after the big ultrasound appointment. Sushi&cupcakes for a girl, and steaks for a boy. Here we are with our giant platters of meat! 🙂We love you already…and can’t wait to meet you little guy!
On Monday, the weather was perfect…and our schedule was completely empty, so Lucy and I took a trip to the beach! It’s such a treat to have the shore just 30 minutes away…(Lucy discovers how warm and wonderful the sand is) 🙂
July is the month of birthdays! (at least for all of Lucy’s little girlfriends) We celebrated Katherine’s birthday last week with bubbles and brunch!
Also, I think maybe Lucy’s first adult visitor?
We went to see “Inside Out” with Uncle Tom and Uncle Nate…such a cute movie, and Lucy did an awesome job sitting still (completely engrossed) through the whole thing!
