I’m pretty sure this kid is not lacking in self-confidence.
9 1/2 months old, and finally crawling. (But staying true to the Smith-family inner nerd, and taking her first crawling adventure at the bookstore.) 🙂 That’s our Lu…!
Our smallgroup took a fun little trip to Tahoe this past weekend, and although we were expecting snow – we couldn’t complain about all the gorgeous sunshine we had!
Lucy’s first glimpse of the snowy Tahoe mountaintops! (She couldn’t care less…)
Lucy’s first snow! (a dirty pile we found in the shade.) Still couldn’t care less…
What she DID love about vacation was the giant tub in the cabin bathroom.
Picnic-ing by the lake. (Lucy’s hat is as big as her plate…)
And a gorgeous mountain hike!
9 months old. (And she just may have a career composing music for day-spas…)
Lucy makes her case.
Playing a little catch-up on the blog! We went to Capitola two weekends ago to enjoy a sunny Saturday in the sand. The weather was perfect, and Lucy thoroughly enjoyed getting in some beach reading and seagull watching. 🙂
This girl always love a day at the shore.
This is Lucy’s happy squint face. A real treasure…
Catching up on her magazine reading! (So many great beauty + fashion tips…)
We may need to get her a pair of reading glasses, though. The print seems to be a bit small for her..
Testing out the water. (a bit chilly!)
But nothing like a little sand between your toes!
Lucy clearly wanted to get her sandy foot into the family-selfie…
Hanging by the water!
After the beach, we discovered an awesome roadside BBQ restaurant. Cats! (delicious ribs)
Lu even got to get in a little bit of saddle practice by the bar. (Hey cowgirl!) 🙂
